Muted! Appeal....

I'm making a complaint against 'Goldee', for muting me for no reason.

I was talking on LFG, and made a comment saying 'Why the crap is my infernal named Reese?', saying it to no-one in particular.



Goldee then comes along and says 'Don't push it Dark, your at the top of my hit-list'. This left me very confused, so I asked why in LFG, not in the best manner, but nothing offensive at all.



I get responded with 'Stop trying to be a smart-ass - you fail badly'.



When I asked 'What did I do, whats your issue with me?', he proceeded to mute me.



As a response, I got 'Use your head mate, just drop it' then 'I don't have an issue with you anymore - your muted'.

I still don't have any idea what I did, or why I got slammed like this. What the hell did I do to get on your 'hit-list' Goldee? Whats going on?

erm so sorry about mute but i cant do nothing and i hate to step in what she does but
smells you i see lots of non classe spells and i've been told ure using them in PVP tried to summon u but u were offline, Next i see u ill remove them from u.

Thats what the ticket is for. I was asked by Tincan (I think) to ask someone to remove them, which I've been trying to do.

As for using them in PvP, I never do. They are really only gimmicks to me. Although Holy Light is handy for healing after duels without having to drop out of shadowform and lose all my buffs.

I muted you 'Dark' because you are always trying to be smart. You are using non class spells which will be reset. You know why I muted you as 2 minutes before you used the word 'crap' lfg were discussing the fact i had changed a players name because they had the word 'crap' in it. Dont try and be clever - it will always backfire.

You are muted - maybe you will learn you less on and think before you type in future.

My issue with it is this. Not once did you tell me WHY you did what you did. I asked a number of times 'What did I do', but apparently you don't need to give me a response. Especially since you blew it out of proportion very quickly. To be told 'Your on the top of my hit-list' with no warning about what you have done is rather worrying, and frankly, unprofessional. You could of warned me for using what is hardly swearing at all. Instead you fired threats at me THEN muted me.

And like I said above. I DO NOT use non-class spells in PvP. It is unfair to everyone else. Anyone that PvPs with me enough can tell you that I don't.

what a load of rubbish. It's a temporary mute, You have been around long enough to know the rule about swearing but as usual you tried to be clever, this time it failed. YOU ARE MUTED - get over it.

Ok, while it may seem harsh, it's upto the GMs on duty to make the call on duration of a mute.
