Stealing/dispelling Voting buffs?

I've noticed that many people, including myself, are irritated by this matter. In a duel (or just pvp), you can get your voting buffs dispelled. Imo this isn't fair, so changing the type of buff would be a good idea I think. Maybe making it into some kind of aura that only works for you? (This'd make it impossible to steal/dispel it).
Afaik, the following spells are capable of doing this:

Spellsteal for mages, Purge for shamans. (feel free to add if you know any more)

Threads have been made like this and they have wound out locked.

Yes, it's annoying. The buff token is modified by WaMMO To have it's name, but the mechanics of the buff fall down to game physics, making this "problem" unfixable.
buffs are classed as magic, and some abilities in the game remove magic buffs.
