Dude honestly where did you learn to play mage?? Did you play a mage past leve 20? Impact is a game and duel SAVER without lucky impact proccs i would have lost lots of time without it. Second deep frost is fun but without shatter combos your damage is somewhat lower than fire. Third NEVER use fireball as a fire mage in pvp unles you are a haste nub. Scorch is the way to go adds lost of damage, a debuff, and has a short cast time so you can keep lots of pressure up on your target, especially a healer. Fourth with Pom pyro specc you should never blow the CD before your opponent is at half health, or unless its a disc priest/resto druid and you need to keep up lots of pressure and damage fast. Fifth hybrids are not easy, if a noob mage is going to specc they should go arcane or fire. those are the easiest speccs to play.
