A Sad Day For WarcraftMMO
As most of you already know, Nick Correa (Reddog/Boomer) passed away last Monday. For you old timers, you know Nick spent countless hours on the server helping new players. One of his recognizable traits was that he'd add Soap on a Rope to all the newest players, and tell them to not drop the soap while on the server. Nick had a huge impact on the server and a huge heart.
His wife, Ellie (Beastbaby) also Gm'ed on the server when we went live and spent hours talking to everyone on Ventrilo and in-game. She's having a hard time covering the costs of Nicks wake and funeral know so we are rolling out an item, in the hopes that you guys help us commerate, celebrate and recognize how great of a person Reddog was. These will be donated for at $15 per item. They will be a limited run of 100 sold. ALL proceeds will be sent to Ellie. Every sale of these will be forwarded to FLINT for oversight, accountability and tracking. Every sale will also enter the person in a pool to win this: eDimensional AudioFX Pro 5.1 Force Feedback USB Gaming Headset 5P1AUDIOF at TigerDirect.com Once all 100 pieces are sold, all emails from donations for the item will go into a random pool that Arsenik is coding. It doesn't matter where you live. I will ship it to you via UPS, Fed EX, Global, whatever it takes. Could anyone who donated for "Boomers Soap on a Rope" please delete your cache as we changed the on use spell to one that works more effectively (see the screen shot above).
