.Recall/.Appear + Wammo Tabard Rules

As i havent seen anything solid regarding the rules of these items i am going to write down the basics of what i know.

If you are thinking of getting one or both of these items or have kindly donated or have won a Wammo Tabard there are a few things you need to know.

* You are not allowed to use the .recall function to port away from a fight or are being engaged in PvP

* You are not allowed to .appear to a player of the opposite faction, unless they are in a party/raid/guild and are a friendly target

* You are not allowed to use the Wammo tabard flying carpet in any pvp enabled arena, wether you are stealthed or not ( The GMs can still see you )

* You are not allowed to use the flying carpet to escape from a PvP situation, much like the .recall function above

* You are not allowed to use the carpet to your advantage in PvP

* NEW Due to Mall FPS Lag Carpets are not permitted in Shopping Malls

* Never appear to a GM you will regret it

* Do not whisper GMs, unless they whisper you first

* You are not allowed to .appear to someone if they are currently engaged in pvp to help them

Its always polite to ask the person you are appearing to on your faction.

If your lucky enough to have the GM commands that you donated for, you can also invite both factions to a guild / party

Like i said at the beginning these rules i have put down are only what i have been told by GMs and Server Admins and may be changed if incorrect

If you get caught by a GM you may get your Tabard or GM access removed

yup, also with Q as it's known you are able to whisper GM's - DO NOT DO THIS !!

also appearing to a gm's location is not allowed. Thats why GM's have the .summon command.

I was also advised by Boomer that .appear could not be used to help another player who is engaged in PVP. You can .recall to the area but must then run/ride to the player if you want to help them out.

I assume this is still in force.

I wonder why a.) it took so long to get these rules in writing, and b.) why a player had to bring them to the forum. While they might be common knowledge for characters who have been around a while, it is important that other unwritten rules find their way onto the forums; everyone is a newcomer at one point in their WaMMO careers.

It also adds a lot of authenticity to rules when they are actually stated in writing, as opposed to the he said/she said that goes on in the channels in-game.

Updated. And yea i knew all the rules cept when a GM told me about using the carpet in an arena even though it wasnt for pvp purposes, and i have seen a few people abuse it so thought it would be best to write it down, as i have both these items and alot more people are donating its best to put them down in writing

most players who get donation carpets are told of the rules - or at least should be. I warn all players i see with carpets of what is expected of them since i was .appeared to above stormwind by someone on a carpet.

another rule is not to mount while on your carpet as I know it's rare but possible.

r u sure all donors r told this when they donate? Macetoface appeared away from pvp in IF lots of times :S (this is NOT a report, just wondering if he didn't know)
