I dont know about Vista, but i have some advices
First make an account.
Find the World of Warcraft folder in your computer which is usualy in:
my computer/C:/Program Files/World of Warcraft
Open World of Warcraft , in that folder you'll find an icon named :realmlist, you have to open it and delete the information in it. Then write in it SET REALMLIST WARCRAFTMMO.COM
save the changes before you'll close this archive.
Then find the folder with the name Cache and delete it.
After that you're ready to open and play wow.
Remember!!! Do Not use Launcher to open wow. U have to use WoW

Good luck

I don't know too much about Vista also, I've only used it a few times. However, I always hear that you need to change the realmlist and such as an administrator.

World Of Warcraft has to be installed before you can do any modifications to your realmlist.wtf file.....

do not use any launcher to start wow, use the wow.exe that is located in your C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft folder
