Hiya!
Hi! Meh names Ayn, and I just started playing here yesterday. My only character is Music ( Alliance N/e Priest). And I was making this to ask some questions about the server! ( all of which i'm sure I could answer by playing for a bit more, but i'm lazy :D ) Are all of the instances scripted? If not, which ones are? Do people ever do raids, or Pve at all? How bad are the D/c's lagg ect? I've been hopping around servers for the last week or so, most of them have either really bad lagg, or d/c's every three minutes. >_>

Yea, people do raids and PvE if you go to Shadowburn instead of Netherstorm. They do raid in NS, but since you get instant lvl 80 and gears with money, no one really does anything but PvP in NS. Dc's come sometimes and lag too, it just depends. :> For example, I don't DC as much as my friend does; his internet sucks.. ;> NS has it's daily crush, but I haven't noticed, if SB has one.. Anyways, welcome and good luck with the playing! Hopefully you enjoy your time here and stay with us. ;>

Miwwe answered your raiding question. PvE is done a lot more on Shadowburn than on Netherstorm.
The rates on Shadowburn have been reset to their regular ones, so currently it is at 20x. Still, it should take no more than a day or two to get to 70, especially with our custom buffs (eg. a buff with no level requirement that increases spell damage by 295 for half an hour). To receive these buffs, all you have to do is vote. You can put in at most one vote every 12 hours. Each vote will give you 80 gold and a scratch card which can yield a random buff or a token, used in bulk to obtain other prizes, or can be used to get a new scratch card. You can vote by clicking on the big orange Vote Now button on the front page. The lag isn't bad usually, but we do get the occasional disconnect. I've noticed that Shadowburn runs more smoothly and with less disconnects than Netherstorm. Finally, scripting. Unfortunately close to none of the bosses/mobs on Netherstorm are scripted. Mostly this is because all items are available to you and the focus is set on PvP. However most of the bosses and mobs on Shadowburn are scripted. You'll often see regular mobs casting powerful spells on you, and the bosses of all the popular instances except Sunwell/MGT are indeed scripted. We also just got a new custom instance. Built by our staff, it's centered around the tale of Dracula and drops BT and Hyjal loot. It is also one of the things only available to Shadowburn players for the time being.

Leveling is pretty easy. In rested state, mobs give you a bar of experience, and that when you are like 60. Also, quests can give you up to 3 whole levels. Very easy to lvl to 70. And if you wanna make it easier, donate for Q commands that can help you get to the places you want in just a second
