Iam nightlord29 on here. Iam a married man. Iam trying to get get in on the game but i dont know how to do it, I have tried it the way it says to do it and it still dont work for me. I have a brand new computer. with windows vista. if some one please tell me how to do this. I dont understand how to do this.

Ok, first of all, you must download World Of Warcraft, and the expansion, then patch up to patch 2.4.3. THis may take a while, and you can find all the patches you need here:

Secondly, then you must go into My Computer>HP:C>Program Files>World Of Warcraft and open Realmlist.wtf with notepad. Then erase everything there and type in, "Set Realmlist Warcraftmmo.com"

Then, you just login and pick a server, Netherstorm or Shadowburn. Note that you can find many guides on classes, and guides on professions and skills.

PS: WE also have a Technical and In-Game support section as well as a ticket help system. If your getting an, "unable to connect" error just wait a day or two and send in a ticket, then you'll be able to connect

Hello guys ..

Im running really low on money these days and I really miss my WOW time. So I thought I would look around to see if there was a free version of WOW. I stumble on your site and thought I would try it out. Im having some troubles logging in so I thought I might post my steps to see if there was something that I might have missed.

First I signed up for the forums and then I signed up for the Shadowburn Mid-Rate server using this link

I got the email an email and activated the account. I did this once not twice. Im not sure If it needs to be done for the forum sign up as well as the server sign up or not.

I then pated my game to 2.4.3.8606 using

WoW-2.4.2.8278-to-2.4.3.8606-enUS-patch

and edited the realmlist.wtf file in my game dir. I noticed that there was tow files with this name. One was a txt file and the other was a wtf file. I tried to edit both and when I try to log in I am unable to authenticate.

This is what I tried in the wtf file

set realmlist warcraftmmo.com

I even tried this as well
set realmlist = warcraftmmo.com




Any suggestions?

also, do you have burning crusade installed?

3 things make you unable to connect generally

1. no wow install ( i'm not joking... we get them here believe me )
2. realmist is not right
3. no game account

as you seem to have all these right, maybe your firewall is blocking your client?

When you say no game install.. DO you need to actualy runn the install? I have been using copy and past. to avoid all the updates and crap .. This machine has not seen an actual install. Sounds as though I may have to start there .
