This Is Done With a HP comp.

Ok I've Done Every Thing until The Realm List Part And I Try To Save It But A Thing Pops Up And Says "Cannot Create the C:\Program Files\World Of Warcraft\realmlist.wtf file.Then Says "Make Sure That the path and file name are correct"..Then the Save As thing pops up with file name as realmlist and save as type:Text Documents(*.txt) Encoding ANSI then i press "Save".Then Another Window pops up saying realmleast.wtf aready exists.Do you want to replace it? I Click "Yes" and ANOTHER window pops up saying Cannot Create the C:\Program Files\Worls Of Warcraft\realmlist.wtf file."Make Sure That the path and file name are correct and clicked Ok and closed the window.I've tried tons of time trying to get it in the realmlist folder and won't go in if it goes in something it goes in the Documents

no i typed it in and idk if the download will make the reg. realm list go away because i play on the reg. realms to

Assuming u have VISTA? cause thats what it does. Needed to turn off the UAC to be able to change things.

This isn't really contributing...but.. my cousin told me it's in the My Computer... and that's all he told me.

The UAC is in Control Panel\User Accounts and Family Safety\User Accounts then simply click turn UAC off

had same at the beginning since i'm also running on vista but is no longer a problem...

here's what you have to do...

go to start menu...accessories....and when you see notepad...right+click on it...
then choose run as administrator...edit your realmlist then and save it....you should have no problems using this method...

anyway just so you won't have any more problems with Vista continually asking for your permission and everything...copy your whole wow folder place it in your My Documents folder...that should fix the annoying problem with Vista...hope that helps....
