Any info
I have installed game client,installed both patches,downloaded quick launcher,signed up for account but when i tried to connect to server in game says


Unable to validate game version This might be caused by file corruption or another running program visit blizzard for solutions.

Any ideas or help guys much appreciated thanks??

Sounds like you're trying to connect to the 1.12 with a 2.3 client, or the other way around. What is your client's version, and what server are you trying to connect to?

Make sure you have updated to 2.3 if you are trying to connect to shadowburn or netherstorm. Make sure you are updated to 1.12 if you are trying to connect to bloodscalp. If you have The Burning Crusade installed, you cannot play on Bloodscalp.

start the wow .exe file once u get to the next window after the app starts it normally in the bottom left of that window...

i got a few idea try running the blizz repair ultilty or repatch in order to do this go to worldofwarcraft/data and delete the patch.mpq file it will drop u back to the verison right when bc came out (dont rember which 1 like 2.0 or sumthin)
