I am no Gm nor will i Act like one but i am tired of Seeing you guys speed hacking so as of today i am screen shooting and frapsing you all Iam gone be appearing to peoples location randomly to check if you are speed hack if i believe you are as i have got 5 people ready by just watching who chanel you move form one location to next to fast for like make you obviously you are speed hacking


if i get banned for appear and Doing this so be it

Arsenik and Syn are working on a new Core for us, right now speed hacking detection has been turned off, Syn and arsenik are working on new movement detection that will prevent speed hacking on the server.

I could care less if they speedhack. Just don't do it in pvp. If you wanna run to the end of BT in half a second, be my guest.

i agree with what you say when you say that you don;t care them using but i do care when it Makes most of the wow servers lagg this is not gone be any different

thats my problem when they do it they make me lag like mad and i usually have 20ms i get 200going on 800

That's the kind of attitude that allows those who use it PvP to continue using it.

At first, you don't care if they use it PvE... and then, hey, why would it be wrong to use it just to explore around the map? And hey, while we're at it, there was that one guy who was cursing at me in whispers, and I guess he was violating the rules anyway so it's cool to use speedhacks to kill him right? And hey, the speedhacker is on my faction in Gurubashi, so I don't have to worry about him.

It's a slippery slope. Speed hacking of ALL types is forbidden on the server, and for good reason. Everyone will give you their excuse, but the bottom line is, it's against the rules. Break them, and you deal with the consequences.

As for appearing to them repeatedly, I believe it to be a bad idea. First of all, you can't do anything about it. Secondly, you don't have their IP, Account, or any of that crucial information. Thirdly, repeatedly appearing to them tips them off that they're being monitored, and a lot of the time they will log out because they believe the GMs are about to catch them, and either log on at a later time, or get on another account. This is one of the reasons why GMs are most of the time invisible. So please, if you see a hacker, do the smart thing and open a ticket. All GMs and Some BMs I believe have the commands to get their IP, and this can lead to a successful banning. Appearing around or trying to control them through so-called vigilante style attacking is not an effective, nor plausible way of controlling the problem.
