OMG is ASCENT dead?
I found this in the ASCENT forums. Apparently one of the if not the TOP developers is quiting. Read it and see if we can even count on any more upgrades to the ASCENT code.

I started reading other forums from other servers and talk is going mangos if need be although there seems to be a threshold of 500 online before we see lags. Not a problem for Shadowburn but Netherstorm? Seems that our developers can keep this version of ascent humming indefintely though. Just don't know if there are parts of the code that just cannot be touched other than the ascent guys.

mangos uses a hell of a lot more resources than ascent afaik. we'll see what happens i guess.
