How to play on Wammo Servers
Step 1 - Downloading The Game

Use this installer to download WOW and The Burning Crusade

GB (European) WOW.rar

English (US) WOW.rar

Both the above packs include the Blizzard downloader for Wow and The Burning Crusade. Download your flavour of choice and use winrar to extract the downloaders. Run the downloader for the program you want (WOW or TBC) and select a target directory for it. The game will then download from the blizzard server. You can pause the download at any time etc as it will just carry on from where it left off.

Step 2 - Updating To Latest Version

In order to install The Burning Crusade, you must have WOW patched up to 2.0, once you've done that and installed TBC, you will need to patch up to 2.4.3

Step 3 - Creating An Account

It will take up to 5 minutes for your account to become active.

Step 4 - Connecting To The Server

Now you have a working version of WoW with the BC expansion installed you need to connect to our server.

To do this you need to edit your REALMLIST.WTF in your WoW directory using notepad (c:/program files/world of warcraft/realmlist.wtf) and replace:

SET REALMLIST US.LOGON.WORLDOFWARCRAFT.COM

and change it to

SET REALMLIST WARCRAFTMMO.COM

It's important that you DON'T use the shortcut on your desktop to start playing wow. If you do, then wow will automatically download a new patch which will be incompatible with the WAMMo Servers. You will need to make a new shorcut, by going into your - "C:/Program Files/World Of Warcraft" folder. Once there you need to right click on the "wow.exe" file and select "Send to Desktop (Create Shorcut)". You can now use this new shortcut to start playing.

brilliant post lukey, although you don't have to have BC installed but without it you cannot access certain features of the game and obviously BC areas - which i think is essential tbh.
one other point, make sure when you make your account on the wammo servers, you have ticked the 'have TBC installed' box otherwise you won't be able to access those parts of the game and will get an error message telling you 'you need the burning crusade expansion to access this area' even though you have it installed ..

Where can I get TBC
Where can i download the burning crusade so i can play on ur servers?

That link takes me to the site, i download the file but it contains nothing!
is there any other way you can get it to me, e.g. email?

Where can i download an enGB version of the burning crusade?
Also, i have updated my standard WOW to version 2.3.3 (the corrcct one) but dont know when to install TBC!


Some guidance please

Unfortunatly I've never managed to find a blizzard downloader for the European version of TBC, which is why even though I live in the UK I use the USeng wow and TBC.

There are probably copies available on torrent sites though if you use them.

Sorry I can't be more helpful at the moment

PS thanks for pointing out the Download link was broken, I've changed it now and it should work

afaik it doesnt matter which version you get, i'm pretty sure they all work on our servers.
