dot recall to opposing major cities

heres a thaught why not put a npc next to the recall port in each major city that can kill any non faction player that doesn`t belong ,, this would put an end to the players abusing this to kill people who after all are just trying to either make things or train there skills ,,,If a player wanted to still go they would have to do it the proper way by walking in the front instead of porting into the centre ,,,, any thaughts people ?

as far as i know, there are bouncers guarding the recall locations the malls....now if the area is big like, let's say orgrimmar or darnassus, then we put bouncers around the mall location and left the rest of the areas unguarded

there is i believe one in undercity but as yet there is no guard at ironforge that i can see this is pertaining to shadowburn server

it is a good thing to bring up though, maybe one of the higher-ups for shadow will tell you if there will/will not be anything like this there

Shadowburn is a PvP server, where PvP is allowed and even encouraged in all areas. As to calling .recall "abuse," I fail to see the problem with it on Shadowburn. While Netherstorm Malls are regulated areas, this is not the case for Shadowburn. There are raids on capital cities of both factions almost on a daily basis; using NPCs to stop these player-organized/run events would be misguided. Call in members of your own faction to rout the intruders!

Is there a recall point that puts you right next to the horde vendors in UC like the one in IF. I don't mind when people port to Ironforge but when they pop in right at the Greatforge it is somewhat annoying... legal but annoying.

The people that .recall to ironforge to kill whoever is there training are not organised runs they are just idiots. if they had to run to ironforge or any other apposing city they would not bother. similarly for allie .recalling to horde cities. especially with the pvp bug where when they attack you when you are not in pvp mode you can not attack them back. this is abuse. are you one of these?

Tbh, banning recall's to undercity would be pointless, and useless imo...

If you ban me from recalling to undercity, i'll simply recall to brill and walk to Undercity to kill you =)

But, making recalling to undercity to PvP against the rules on a PvP server, is kinda...not..what the server's about, much as Tyrukian said. Unless you .appear to someone specifically to kill them, I wouldn't call it abuse.

and no, Tyrukian's not an idiot in any sense, and actually are quite intelligent...you'll see them in charge of the raids that can actually down scripted Hyjal bosses.

And what bug is this? If theres a bug where they can attack you when your not in pvp mode, report it to an admin, so they can fix it if possible. Other then that, most of the *bugs*, are people who thought they wern't in pvp mode when they actually were. Unless your in your faction's territory for 5 mins to deflag, chances are your flagged from a contested territory...theres alot of them.

How are they idiots for appearing to ironforge and killing Ally's on a PvP server...note the name, *PvP* "Player versus Player" not PvE, or RP. If you don't like PvP, why doth thou play on a PvP server? =)...we have some excellent RP guilds on Netherstorm for not pvping, unless its a RP PvP of course.
