Why aren't Shadow Priests powerful here?

Shadow priest damage scaling is BORKED here, I believe. My friend has a 70 SP and says in raids, with debuffs his mind flay ticks 1k. My donor, with debuff, gets about 700, and 800 tops SW ticks. All in all when I am disc/holy I do a lot more damage with the occasional 4k smite than with that shadow damage =[ Also @ Bill - Give us a lot more spell damage pl0x, mages have around 2.2k+ and my priest in full donors has 1.6k =/ Ftl. I use some non donors for spell damage. Gief int boosts to SD and just more raw damage.

Actually, it's because the Shadow Priest talent Darkness doesn't work.
My Affliction warlock's Corruption ticks for more than my Shadow Priests SWP... and my warlock is stacking stam gems.

Maybe so. I also suspect shadowform doesn't work - I don't seem to take less phys. damage or deal more shadow damage when I am in it. =[

Ok, yea, I think it's all of the above...

Lets talk about Holy Priests and how they do 2k smites with 0.5 sec casts and have a strong bubble. Im making a Holy Priest on SB as we speak because their the only thing that doesn't wear plate that can stop a rogue from stun lock killing you. Also because Their outfit is cool and they are OP with buffs and spells, not to mention healing. Oh yea, and because I have a Holy Priest on retail for PvP and hes pretty good at pwning.

no such thing as a DOT on a pally (other than curses or phys dot's).... "cleanse" .... and an equally geared pala (shock/ret) can still tear through a SP....shield drops in 1 holy shock.... or 1 swing from a ret pally... then its just stun... pound em out.... arcane torrent (if your BE) as soon as they get out to stop heals and Hammer of wrath priest dead..... works 95% of the time on priests :D

Or i can leave your "DOT's" on and kill; you faster with reckoning....

i think priests can beat most healing classes ie a drood/shaman but a paly will tear them up

Worgen puts a small DOT on your opponent... it doesnt increase speed or att power....

That paladin sucks im sorry... if it was someone who knows how to pala then its a diff story.
